Allegory of the cave

When i was a kid I watched a TV show about Plato’s allegory of the cave. It is a telling on how people react when they have a shift in there observant reality. Because I cant find a clear translation online. (Especially from someone who experienced it) I wrote my own.

Bram’s Allegory Of the cave

Imagine a road. On the road every day people travel. With all kind of shapes and sounds:
● Shepherds with their sheep.
● Merchants with there goods.
● Solders marching.
● Kids laughing and running.

At one side of the road their is a big fire.
On the other side of the road there is an entry of a cave.
● The fire shades figures of the people on the road in side the cave.
● Sound of the people on the road scatter and echo into the cave.

There are people locked inside the cave as long as they remember. Looking to a wall inside the cave.
● They see the shapes of the figures projected on the wall from the people on the road.
● They hear the echoed/distorted sounds of the people and stuff on the road.

If you place a man from within the cave upon the road that person will be mind stuck.
All the time it heard and saw the people on the road. Who he interpenetrated as shadows all his live.
That are kids, those are solders, there are the merchants with their goods.

If he goes to the cave and speaks inside cave to this friends in the cave to say they are in a cave.
● His voice will be scattered and he is just a shadow projected inside the cave.
● The people in the cave with see a new share and a sound they never heard before.
● The people in the cave will get scared, frighted and upset of the man outside the cave.
